Don Discenza is an accomplished Musician, Vocalist, Composer and Arranger. Whether he is playing solo piano, swinging with his trio or performing with a symphony orchestra, his unique blend of musicianship and stage presence has captured the attention of audiences nationwide. As part of a Political Fund Raiser Don was Music Director for Club Atlantis Hyatt Regency Atlanta, where he was the opening act for some of the music industry's top performers, including: Billy Eckstein, Chris Connors, Clint Holmes, Julie Budd, Leslie Gore and The Ink Spots. Don was on the faculty of Georgia State University teaching improvisation. He is a member of the International Association for Jazz Education and has presented concerts and workshops at the Elementary, Junior High, High School and College Level. Don is also a founding member of the "South City Voices", a vocal-jazz ensemble - currently touring in concert across the United States. |
