Carlos Solis -
The occupation of a communist regime in 1961 forced Carlos Solis and his family to flee their homeland of Havana, Cuba. Carlos was brought up in the Little Havana area of Miami and started writing and composing in the early 70’s. He was well known in the area, recording at the Music Factory & Dukoff Studios and also played on local television programs AM Miami and Fusion. When he married in 1977 Carlos decided to put down the guitar and focus on his business in order to provide for his growing family. Eventually, the Solis’ relocated to Clermont Fl where they currently reside. In 2007 his wife of over 30 years was diagnosed with cancer and upon this revelation they sold their flourishing business in order to focus on her recovery. During this time Carlos began writing again and reconnected with the talents of Jerry & Richard Bravo, Jackson King and Camilo Valencia. The team began recording a new CD a fusion of Smooth Jazz, Bossa Nova, Latin, Big Band , Swing, R&B and Beach Shag. Carlos & Sandy Solis were awarded the 2011 Citizen of the year by the South Lake Chamber of Commerce. Appointed by the Governor to serve on the District Board of Directors for South Lake Hospital in Lake County Florida. He is also on the Planing & Zoning Board for the City of Clermont , the Board of Pig on the Pond Festival and served on the Business Advisory Board at Lake Sumter State Collage.

Born in Venezuela, and after spending his early years in Orlando, Florida, He moved to Miami, where he currently lives. Due to persistence and training, he has been able to record with many of the leading artists that come into South Florida. He attributes his success to his educational foundation, While living in Orlando, He enrolled at the distinguished Full Sail Academy and graduated with an associate’s degree in engineering. This training has been invaluable in his career, since a large part of his income comes from work in his home studio, which he dubbed Cuero Productions.
